Lazarus Island is one of the Southern Islands of Singapore, located just south of the mainland. It is part of a cluster of islands that include St. John’s Island, Kusu Island, and Sisters’ Islands. It is known for its beautiful, unspoiled beaches with soft white sand and clear turquoise waters. It’s a great spot for swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking. Unlike the more commercialized Sentosa Island, it offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city. It’s less crowded, making it ideal for those seeking peace and solitude.
It is also connected to St. John’s Island by a causeway. Visitors can easily walk between the two islands, exploring the attractions of both. St. John’s Island has facilities such as restrooms and picnic areas.
Lazarus Island is accessible by ferry from Marina South Pier in Singapore. Ferries typically stop at St. John’s Island, from where visitors can walk across the causeway to Lazarus Island. Please note that the island is relatively undeveloped, so there are limited facilities. Visitors should bring their own supplies, including food, water, and beach gear. There are no shops or restaurants on the island.
