Jade Mountain is one of the most iconic and luxurious resorts in the Caribbean, located on the beautiful island of St. Lucia. It is renowned for its stunning architectural design and breathtaking views of the Pitons, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Caribbean Sea. The resort is perched on a hillside, offering a secluded and intimate experience.
The Rooms
The most distinctive feature of Jade Mountain’s design is the open fourth wall in each of its 29 rooms, called “sanctuaries.” These come in various sizes (Sky, Star, Moon, Sun, and Galaxy) and are designed to be open, airy, and luxurious. They feature spacious living areas, elegant furnishings, and large bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs. Each sanctuary is accessed via a private bridge, adding to the sense of privacy and exclusivity.
To encourage a peaceful and undistracted experience, the sanctuaries are deliberately free of modern distractions like televisions, radios, and telephones.
The lack of light pollution makes Jade Mountain an ideal location for stargazing, with clear views of the night sky.
Dining & Services
Jade Mountain Club offers gourmet cuisine prepared by award-winning chefs, focusing on fresh, local ingredients. Guests can enjoy their meals in the club, on their private terraces, or through in-room dining services.
The Kai en Ciel Spa provides a range of treatments inspired by ancient healing traditions. There are also yoga classes and fitness facilities available.
Guests can indulge in a variety of activities, including scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, and hiking. The resort also offers guided tours to explore the island’s natural beauty and cultural sites.
Getting there from the airport
Jade Mountain offers private car transfers from the Hewanorra International Airport to the resort. The drive is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, passing through scenic landscapes.
For a more luxurious and faster option, you can book a helicopter transfer. The flight takes around 10-15 minutes and provides spectacular aerial views of the island and the Pitons. The helicopter lands at a nearby helipad, and you will be driven a short distance to the resort.
