Haystack Rock is a well-known and iconic sea stack located on the Pacific coast in Cannon Beach, Oregon, USA.
It is approximately 235 feet (72 meters) tall and is composed of basalt, formed by lava flows millions of years ago that created the Columbia River Basalt Group.
Haystack Rock is accessible by foot and the best times to visit are during low tide when the tide pools are accessible, and seabirds are more visible.
