Råbjerg Mile is a fascinating natural phenomenon located in the northern part of Jutland, Denmark. It is one of the largest migrating sand dunes in Europe and a unique example of Denmark’s natural beauty.
The dune reaches a height of around 40 meters above sea level, making it an imposing feature in the landscape.

After about 10 kilometers, you’ll find a sign directing you to Råbjerg Mile. There’s a parking lot near the dune where you can leave your car.
If accessing by public transport – You can take a train to the nearby town of Hulsig, which is on the Skagen Line between Frederikshavn and Skagen. From Hulsig Station, Råbjerg Mile is about 5 kilometers away. You can walk or bike from the station to the dune.
